Are there girls who like obese men?

Misterelephant88:
I like obese men and obese women, but I see that there are more men who like obese men than obese women who like an obese man.

Munchies:
I am so confused by what you are saying.

Are you saying that there are fewer women who like obese men than there are men who like obese women? Because if so, I recommend you go outside more. Talk to people. Touch some grass.

Misterelephant88:
I'm sorry if I didn't understand, I'm saying that I see more men interested in obese men, than women interested in obese men, sorry if I offended you Munchies, it wasn't my intention =(

I'm not offended by what you said. It's just that I foresaw this attracting people who are dumb about women, which has unfortunately come true.

To be clear, I am not saying you are the cause of this misogyny. This is a case of clumsy words and misogynists taking any excuse they can to shit on women.

Are there girls who like obese men?

This is a wonderful case where we could use the hegelian dialectic! 😆

Luckely ive already proposed to Hiccupx (site owner) about making an other "forum" thing that will be designed so that it will naturally encourage people to engage in it, but we will see if it will ever be implemented!

In the meantime, i noticed how one person made a thesis (the one drawing attention to the number of comments in womens vs mens pictures) then another person made an antithesis (the thesis was not correct because it didnt take into account the imbalance of objectification in men and women) and so it is time for a synthesis!

Unfortunately im currently too horny to think of what this synthesis would be 😅, but i write this to encourage someone else to try it! Try to form a synthesis with the thesis and its antithesis!

Are there girls who like obese men?

Malvineous:
Out of curiosity, I did a search on Feabie for women who like men who are "chubby with a belly", and got 7,793 results out of a total 19,424 women who like men in general, making it 40.1% of the total.
I repeated the same search on Grommr for men seeking men with the same body type. It returned 23,921 out of a total of 50,186, or 47.6%.

OP does have a point. Not only is the percentage higher for men by almost 8 points, but the gap between 7K women and 23K men is huge. It's no surprise that more men are in these communities than women, and combine that with women generally not making the first move and being more cautious than men online, and they're going to feel rare in comparison.

This data is less about different genders that like chubby people with a belly than it is about women who are comfortable enough to admit it on the platform they are on.

Basically, it's apples and oranges.

It also doesn't take into account plus-sized body types like chubby without a belly, morbidly obese, strong fat etc., etc.

It would be interesting to see a robust demographic study on the online feedist community. Unfortunately, despite all the attempts I've seen to make such a thing, the engagement has been piss-poor.

Letters And Numbers:
I'm not sure that those are the most accurate/scientific comparisons. The sites seem to have different cultures which could sway the way people use them. Interesting though?

Is there a reason you chose that "chubby with a belly" category instead of something bigger like the OP was talking about? He asked about obese men.

No, it's not totally scientifically accurate. It's also impossible to get data like that. However, I don't think that on its own completely invalidates the results, this is a lot better and more accurate than merely speculating based on anecdotes. Just take it with a grain of salt. The way I see it is that it gets closer to the truth than we can get without it, but it doesn't fully arrive.

If you're not on Feabie, here's how it works. When you create a profile, one of the fields is "body types I like". There are several options and you can check multiple. The options are thin, average, toned muscle, thick/curvy, slightly chubby, chubby with a belly, pear-shaped chubby, chubby all over, and super chubby. Basically, chubby is their lingo for fat. The vast majority of women's profiles I've seen have filled out this field because it helps with filtering. When doing a profile search, you can select "only members who like my body type". That is unfortunately the only option related to this. I actually can't search multiple body types at once, or even body types that aren't mine. It just so happens that "chubby with a belly" is the one I selected for myself when creating my profile. This search is the best I can do with the tools that are available.

Fair enough.

That said, if we engage with your study as is, we have to ask if the percentage difference on Feabie and Grommr is negigible or not. 40% and 47% are very close. You did not control for a great number of variables, so is it safe to assume they are about the same?

I think they are, but that's my assumption.

We could say the true problem is there aren't as many self-indentified women in male dominated fetish spaces. After all, your datasets imply that to be the case.

Enough people in this thread discusses why that is enough already.

Are there girls who like obese men?

MRFATS53:
Here's a clue for anyone who needs it - on here at least: Look at the number of female fatties photo's and the number of positive comments these attract, most often from males. Now compare that with the photo's of male fatties - how many comments do you see from either sex, let alone from females. Not many...

Letters And Numbers:
That could just mean that women have better manners (not that every comment is rude) or don’t want to express themselves that way. It doesn’t necessarily reflect attraction in a big sense.

I think Malvineous’ example is closer to some actual data, even though I think it has problems.

MRFATS53:
Isn't expressing oneself A, if not THE, major attraction for being on this site in the first place? F/F is an essentially anonymous site so I see no other logical reason for the comments imbalance I mention. Other interpretations are always a possibility - but in this case I think it's a hard case to argue anything other than many more men find fat woman attractive than women find fat men so.

Ah man. Tell me you don't understand women without telling me you don't understand women.

A few truths for you for free.

Most women will not comment on a man's photos on here. It is far too dangerous. There is a very high risk the guy thinks you want him and will inflict himself upon you. No matter how cute he is, it's best not to engage.

A lot of men's pictures on here aren't comment worthy. They don't understand how angles and lighting work. A lot of them do not out any thought to their appearance or background when they upload selfies and videos.

Women are more likely to engage with erotica than cute strangers on the internet due to the aformentioned reasons.

Scores of people from both genders (men and women) look at sexy things without interacting with them.

Are there girls who like obese men?

I got some personal experience from an ex of mine from another forum. They vented on how hard it was to find a dating site where they could find bigger people, and publically invited people to chat with them. I was just throwing the dice for fun, but turns out I was the safest of the suitors and they wanted to give me a chance.

We used VRchat as an icebreaker, and although I wasn't fat myself, we basically used to LARP being a mutually fat couple in private. Although they were cool if I didn't gain weight, we found out our tolerances were around 350 lbs (chunky but not immobile) so I humored bulking up to 30 lbs for them at first (we didn't get far). We even had a bit of ERP where I was solely the fat guy and I personally got to hear how into it they were. Although we had a lot in common, there were too many logistic problems and we had to break up early. Totally worth it, imo.

Do women like this? Yes. Can they cut you some slack? Yes. Is it easier to stay together once you find each other? Probably not.

Are there girls who like obese men?

This is just my experience opinion, but I suspect that the vast majority of women who like fat/obese men don't bother frequenting this site. I have found that there are lots of women who enjoy their men on the heavier side, and that a lot of them can find satisfaction with partners who are not fat fetishists or feedists. They just don't need to show up on websites like this one because they have been able to find and enjoy themselves in real life rather than online.

I think what is rare are the women who are expressly about very large or hyper obese partners. And those who like or feel the need/desire to discuss such things in public forums. I mean, to the point of a fair number of the women here, why would someone expose themselves to the masses of creepy people out there if they didn't have a reason to do so? Especially considering most men I know of tend to put on weight as they get older, tend to enjoy eating great food, and tend to like to be pampered by their significant other, whether they'll admit to it publicly or not.

I cannot prove out the numbers, though it'd be interesting to try, and I don't have more than the experiences of myself and friends to draw from. But I'd hazard a guess that there are a lot more women who are fat admirers than you'd at first believe, and even if they aren't, there are plenty of women who aren't set on having a jacked or rail thin guy as a partner.

Maybe, and this might just be a silly thought of mine, but maybe it would be useful to stop seeking out a partner, and try instead to enjoy your hobbies, past times, and other activities you enjoy. Go out and seek people who like the things you do. Go exploring, learn a craft, take up a cooking class, get into a chess or book club, and so forth. And maybe, just maybe, you'll find new friends and relationships there. And perhaps, if you put yourself out there, you might find someone who enjoys you for you, and you can explore yourself as a whole person with.

Or maybe not. But you won't know until you try. Because there are lots of women who like obese men. They just aren't all sitting around on fat fetish forums.
